UK Bus Awards Events
The 14th annual competition took place against the background of the biggest economic downturn for 60 years, but nevertheless attracted a new record number of entries - 210 in total.
The Annual Conference was held at Homerton College, Cambridge. As well as a superb visit to the Cambridgeshire Busway, delegates enjoyed an excellent conference including a conference dinner which was addressed by Wellglade chairman Brian King. The Presentation Ceremony "went home", returning to the London Hilton Hotel in Park Lane, where the awards were presented by Anthony Smith, chief executive of Passenger Focus, the passenger watchdog which assumed responsibility for buses as well as trains in April 2010.
