Chris Leonti, engineering manager at Arriva London’s Tottenham garage, has won joint gold in the UK Bus Awards 2017 Unsung Hero category at a glittering ceremony held in the capital today.

The Unsung Hero award sponsored by Backhouse Jones, recognises people who are committed, devoted to duty, and truly go above and beyond making sure customers get where they need to be.

Bluestar's Eastleigh Bus Depot is best in country

Go South Coast’s (Bluestar) Eastleigh Bus Depot has been awarded gold and the title of Top National Bus Depot at the prestigious UK Bus Awards 2017 in London today.

The Top National Depot category, sponsored by Personal Group, recognises bus depots that provide an outstanding service and are truly committed to their customers, communities and employees. Only six bus depots from across Great Britain reached the final.

Go-Ahead London takes Eco Joint Gold at Bus Awards

Go-Ahead London is celebrating having won gold at the prestigious UK Bus Awards 2017 for its electric buses initiative.

The project took joint gold alongside Nottingham City Council, in the Environment Award category which is sponsored by Volvo Bus. The award recognises efforts made to improve the green credentials of bus services across Great Britain.

Bus M-Ticket Gets ‘First’ Gold Place

First West of England is celebrating today having won gold at the prestigious UK Bus Awards 2017, for its ‘Beat the Rise’ mticket campaign.

The company took gold in the Marketing Initiative of the Year category, sponsored by Bus and Coach Buyer magazine, which recognises inspired promotional and marketing campaigns which encourage customers to make changes in their travel choices.

Go South Coast crowned UK Bus Operator of the Year

... and achieves a hat trick!

Bus company Go South Coast is celebrating having won the overall top prize, UK Bus Operator of the Year 2017, at the UK Bus Awards’ glittering ceremony in London today.

The team’s outstanding performance saw them achieve a hat-trick with them leaving with three golds: Top National Depot (Eastleigh Bluestar), Top Shire Operator and UK Bus Operator of the Year.

Nottingham takes two Bus Golds

Nottingham City Council is celebrating having won two golds at the glittering UK Bus Awards 2017 ceremony in London today.

Its Electrification of Park and Ride Services and The Robin Hood Network Smart Ticketing project were both triumphant after fighting off competition from across the whole of Great Britain.
