Introduction

The UK Bus Awards scheme was founded as the Bus Industry Awards in 1996, and rebranded in 2005. They are organised and run by The Bus Industry Awards Limited, a not-for-dividend company which works with a Management Committee of industry stakeholders to devise and mount the scheme, now in its 14th year.

This section of the site contains articles and information about:

  • how and why the awards came to be founded
  • the objectives of the awards
  • why they are important for the future of the bus industry in the UK.
