Booking for this year's presentation ceremony is now open. It promises to be a very special event, celebrating 20 years of the UK Bus Awards, at a brand new and spectacular venue.
The event will take place at lunchtime on Tuesday 24 November 2015 at The Ballroom, South Bank, London SE1.
Finalists' Announcement 2015
This year's formal announcement of the Finalists in the 2015 competition will take place on Thursday 8 October at the Transport Museum, Wythall in Worcestershire.
The event will get under way at around 1100 and will start with a welcome from UK Bus Awards Chairman Tony Depledge. Finalists and their representatives will be formally welcomed on behalf of the Museum, before the announcement itself comes in in the now traditional form of a video illustrating all the people projects and organisations awarded the status of finalist in 2015. There will follow presentations from UK Bus Awards Directors Chris Cheek and Jamie Cash to talk about how to take advantage of being a finalist in the awards, and about what happens next. There will then be a photography session and lunch at nearby Beckett's Farm, after which delegates had the opportunity to visit the Museum.
Transport to this invitation-only event will be provided by a vintage bus service from Kings Norton and Solihull stations. Full details for invitees can be found on the Finalists' Section of the web site.
