Minister set for industry debut at UK Bus Awards
Transport Minister Baroness Kramer is set to make one of her first appearances at a bus industry event at the UK Bus Awards ceremony in London on 19 November. She will give a keynote address at the start of the ceremony, whilst the awards themselves will be presented by this year's guest of honour, Lord Snape, Chairman of the Bus Appeals Board.
UK Bus Awards chairman, John Owen, said: "We are absolutely delighted the Minister has agreed to join us in November. Feedback from right across the bus industry suggests that attendance by a minister is greatly appreciated, and acknowledges the innovation and high standards we showcase through the UK Bus Awards. I also look forward very much to welcoming Lord Snape, who is an old friend of the industry."
