Transport Events Group has announced that Commercial Director Ian Smith is to step back from his front line sales role at UK Bus Awards and UK Coach Awards. He is handing over his sales responsibilities to Steve Cresswell, who will be Director of Sales.
The bus industry is being asked to to demonstrate how it is rising to the challenges of the modern technology-driven consumer society in the 2016 UK Bus Awards. The 21st annual contest has been officially launched, with entries now open until early June. Entries are invited to compete for 21 awards covering the full range of skills required to plan, promote and deliver high quality bus services to customers.
The key dates for the 2016 awards scheme can be found here. The events are following a similar pattern to previous years, with nominations closing in early June. Judging will take place during late July and early August, the short-list announcement will be in early October, followed by the Presentation Ceremony in November - with a return to our spacious and exciting venue on London's South Bank.
