Nottingham City Council is celebrating having won two golds at the glittering UK Bus Awards 2017 ceremony in London today.
Its Electrification of Park and Ride Services and The Robin Hood Network Smart Ticketing project were both triumphant after fighting off competition from across the whole of Great Britain.
Paul Branigan, engineering manager for First Scotland East and Midland Bluebird at Dean Depot in Livingston, is celebrating today having won gold at the prestigious UK Bus Awards. Paul was crowned Engineer of the Year 2017 at a glittering ceremony held in London today.
The award, given in partnership with The IRTE (Institute of Road Transport Engineers), recognises and rewards inspirational management talent in engineering disciplines from across the bus industry.
Reading Buses employees, Maks Pruszewicz and Dan Bassett, are celebrating today having both won gold at the prestigious UK Bus Awards 2017. Maks was crowned Top National Bus Driver and Dan Young Manager of the Year.
They were also awarded a silver in the New Horizons category recognising the company’s commitment to innovation.
The UK Bus Awards 2017 honoured Leon Daniels, Managing Director for Surface Transport at Transport for London (TfL), today with a highly coveted Services to the Bus Industry award.
Leon was presented with the award at a glittering ceremony attended by his colleagues and peers. The award recognises the significant and sustained contribution Leon has made to the success of the industry over the past 33 years.
Abellio London driver Sabatino Barbarino is celebrating today, having been crowned Top London Bus Driver at the prestigious UK Bus Awards 2017.
The Top London Bus Driver Award, sponsored by The Luke Rees-Pulley Charitable Trust and Transport for London (TfL), recognises London bus drivers who have demonstrated excellent performance and rewards top-quality service and commitment.
